Alain Miquelon is executive vice-president, chief financial officer and head of strategic development at Montreal Climate Exchange (MCeX), a joint venture between the Montreal Exchange (MX) and the Chicago Climate Exchange (CCX).[1]Effective July 1, 2009, he will become MX president and chief executive officer. [2]

Since joining Montreal Exchange in 2007, he has served as executive vice-president, head of strategic development and chief financial officer of the Montreal Exchange, which is now TSX Group. He also serves as secretary of the Montreal Exchange's joint audit committee.

Prior to joining the Montreal Exchange, he was COO and executive vice president of corporate development and CFO at Mediagrif Technologies, a B2B internet-based services company headquartered in Montréal. Before 2000, he held financial management positions with Memotec Communications, ScotiaMcLeod’s Investment Banking Division and Arthur Andersen.
