Andy Yemma is a managing partner of Intermarket Communications, responsible for media services, account management and business development.[1]
He works with a variety of clients including Penson Worldwide, Penson GHCO, The Clearing Corporation, Ashmore Investment Management, and Laserfiche.
Background
Previously, Yemma was vice president for media relations at the New York Stock Exchange, working to emphasize the NYSE's increasingly global presence. Also, he was a senior executive at Chicago Mercantile Exchange where he was in charge of corporate communications.
Before moving into pubic relations, Yemma was a journalist for 15 years, including as business editor of the Chicago Sun-Times and an editor and reporter at United Press International (UPI). While at UPI, he served as Midwest Division Editor, managing 100 reporters and editors across nine states.
Education
Yemma has a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago and Bachelor in Journalism from the University of Texas (Austin). While at University of Texas, Yemma as editor-in-chief of the Daily Texan.
