Barbara A. Pfendler is vice president of Alternative Investments Group at Newedge Financial, Inc., formerly Calyon Financial, Inc.
Background
She began her career with Cargill, Incorporated in 1975, where she held various merchandising and management positions within the organization's Oilseed Processing Division before transferring to CIS in 1986 where she was responsible for the Fund Services Group. She was appointed vice president of CIS in May 1990.
Pfender is a past member of the International Advisory Committee for the Managed Funds Association and currently serves on the NFA CPO/CTA Advisory Committee.
Education
Pfendler is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder.
