Bart Green is vice president and manager of NASDAQ/OTC Agency Trading at A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc., in St. Louis, Missouri, and was elected chairman of the Security Traders Association for 2008.[1]
Background
Prior to joining A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc., Green was NASDAQ/OTC department manager for Edward Jones. Throughout his career, he has conducted a number of seminars for financial consultants and has been interviewed by such media outlets as CNBC, CNNfn and the Wall Street Journal.Prior to assuming chairmanship of the STA for 2008, he served as the association's vice chairman and treasurer and, for three years, as a governor of STA. Green is on the Executive Committee and has chaired the Trading Issues Committee. In 2006, he was chairman of the Affiliate Liaison Committee. He also served two terms as president of the Security Traders Association of St. Louis in 2000 and 2001 and continues to be an active board member of the St. Louis Affiliate.
Education
Green received a BSBA from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and earned an MBA from St. Louis University.
