The Bolsa de Productos de Chile is an electronic exchange listing contracts in wheat, corn and bulk wine. Icap, the UK-based interdealer broker, acquired a 15 percent stake in the business in January 2008[1].
History
The exchange was created with support from the Inter-American Development bank in 2005 to provide alternative funding sources for small and medium-sized businesses through derivatives and other contracts types.
