Carl W. Gilmore is General Counsel and Managing Director of Global Risk for Penson GHCO, a wholly owned subsidiary of Penson Worldwide Inc. (PNSN). He also and serves as a member of the NFA Hearing Committee.

Gilmore began his career in 1988 as Marketing Manager for Westvaco, a Fortune 500 company. His interest in securities prompted him to accept a position with Prudential Insurance Corporation as a securities floor desk clerk. Gilmore also served as Marketing Project Manager in the U.S. Automotive Division of British Steel.

Education

Gilmore has a Bachelor of Science from Indiana State University, a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Chicago, and a Juris Doctor degree from John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
