Charlotte Crosswell is president of NASDAQ's OMX Pan European Market, a trading platform that will launch in September of 2008 and link multiple trading pools across Europe.[1]
The NASDAQ OMX Pan European Market spot requires Crosswell to be based in London. She is responsible for the operations and strategic development of the Pan European Market and reports to NASDAQ OMX Executive Vice President of Transaction Services, Chris Concannon.
Background
Crosswell started her financial career at Goldman Sachs in European equity sales in 1995 and worked there for three years.[2]
From 1998 to 2004, she held management positions at the London Stock Exchange in sales and business development roles, both in the UK and internationally.
From 2004 to 2007 Crosswell was head of international listings for NASDAQ. While in this position, she was responsible for non-U.S. IPOs and managing NASDAQ's relationships with its overseas listed companies through representatives based in London, New York, Bangalore, and Beijing. She fought with the LSE to persuade businesses in burgeoning markets to list on NASDAQ rather than London's junior Alternative Investment Market.[3]
From 2007 to 2008, Crosswell was a partner and head of business development at Pension Corporation, a London-based pension management firm. At Pension Corporation, she was responsible for the firm's business development strategy, as well as developing relationships with customers, the actuarial community and the media.[4]
