Charlotte Crosswell is the chief executive officer of Nasdaq OMX NLX, the cross-product trading and clearing platform. She was appointed the the position in June, 2012. [1]

prior to this, Crosswell was president of NASDAQ's OMX Pan European Market trading platform that links multiple trading pools across Europe.[2][3][4] The NASDAQ OMX Pan European Market spot required Crosswell to be based in London. From 1998 to 2004, she held management positions at the London Stock Exchange in sales and business development roles, both in the UK and internationally.

From 2004 to 2007 Crosswell was head of international listings for NASDAQ. While in this position, she was responsible for non-U.S. IPOs and managing NASDAQ's relationships with its overseas listed companies through representatives based in London, New York, Bangalore, and Beijing. She fought with the LSE to persuade businesses in burgeoning markets to list on NASDAQ rather than London's junior Alternative Investment Market.[6]

From 2007 to 2008, Crosswell was a partner and head of business development at Pension Corporation, a London-based pension management firm. At Pension Corporation, she was responsible for the firm's business development strategy, as well as developing relationships with customers, the actuarial community and the media.[7]
