David B. Carlson is director of media relations for Strategics, Inc., an integrated marketing communications consultancy located in Chicago.[1]

Carlson acts as liaison between Strategics clients and the media. He advises client spokespeople on how to best communicate company values during media interviews and speaking engagements.
Also, Carlson consults with clients on the use of search engine optimization (SEO) and social networks as part of their overall public relations strategy.
Prior to joining Strategics, Carlson worked at Ravid & Bernstein, LLP a certified public accounting firm servicing corporations, high-net-worth individuals and non-profits.
Education
Carlson holds a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Arizona State University in Tempe. He is also involved with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago’s club-based mentoring program.[2]
