Derek Kaufman is Senior Managing Director, Citadel Investment Group, LLC, a global financial institution focused on alternative investment strategies and services. He was named to the position on Apr. 23, 2008.[1] Previously, Kaufman was global head of fixed income at JPMorgan Chase's proprietary positioning group.[2]

Kaufman was one of the earliest members of JPMorgan's proprietary positioning desk, having joined the investment bank in 1996.
Kaufman's father, Dr. Barry Kaufman, is the writer and broadcaster of Healthy Minute, a daily report on WBBM-AM radio in Chicago.[3]

Kaufman is a graduate of Harvard College, where he graduated cum laude.[4][5]
