Don Wilson is the founder and chief executive officer of DRW Trading Group, a Chicago-based proprietary trading firm.[1] He currently serves as a member of the board of the Futures Industry Association.[2]
Background
Wilson began his career with a Chicago-based firm named LETCO in January 1989, trading Eurodollar options on the CME trading floor through LETCO. Wilson started trading for himself in 1992. In 1994, he moved to London and traded on LIFFE. He returned to Chicago in 1996.[3]
In November 2008, Wilson was an honorary committee member of the FIA Futures Cares Charity Dinner where over $300K was raised in support of the Greater Chicago Food Depository.[4]
An avid sailor, he is a founder of the Chicago Match Race Center.[5]
Education
Wilson graduated from the University of Chicago in 1988 with an economics degree.[6]
