Provost is responsible for the Exchange’s business development activities, including domestic and international marketing, e-commerce and related Internet functions, the statistical analysis and member trading services areas and The Options Institute, the educational arm of CBOE. In addition, he is chairman of the CBOE Stock Exchange (CBSX).
Provost has been active in church and community affairs, serves on the Executive Planning Committee of the Chicago Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America and is a member of the Executives’ Club of Chicago.

Provost holds a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University of Chicago and an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
