Timmins joined RJO as vice president of human resources in May of 2007. Prior to joining RJO, Timmins worked for JWT advertising as a senior partner, developing and implementing the human resources functions at a strategic level. Earlier in her career, Timmins was a vice president of global human resource at Transora, a start up e-commerce software and services company specializing in data synchronization.

Timmins' background also includes time as a director of organization development for Equity Office Properties and as a senior manager of learning and development for Land's End.

Education

Timmins holds a B.A. in Business Communication from DePaul University, an M.S. in Organizational Development and Human Resources from Loyola University and is a Ph.D. student (ABD) at Capella University with studies focused on organizational management and leadership development. She recently completed the Women’s Director Development Program at Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University to prepare for board memberships.

On Aug. 7, 2006, Timmins made a presentation on human resources leadership at the Oxford Round Table 2006 Women in Leadership Conference at Exeter College in Oxford, England. She highlighted strategies that human resource leaders can use to develop credibility and influence.^[4]
