The Energy Business Awards reward excellence in energy business disciplines to those companies that are making a significant mark on the way energy business is conducted, trading risks mitigated, precious energy resources utilised, energy systems developed, environmental degradation curtailed, energy technology advanced, and energy production and consumption distributed more efficiently and ethically.
The Energy Exchange of the Year award is conferred on an exchange that has excelled in taking the exchange market forward to the benefit of the overall energy marketplace.
Jeremy Wilcox is founder of the Energy Business Awards. Guy Isherwood, Editor of Commodities Now magazine, is co-founder of the Energy Business Awards. In 2007 a greater number and breadth of companies were nominated for these awards, reflecting the growing importance and awareness of energy business disciplines. [1]
