Erik Hansen joined TradeLink Holdings LLC asset management arm DigiLog Capital LLC in 2007 to work on the firm's Global Environmental Fund. In December 2008, TradeLink indicated that Hansen is no longer with the firm.

Hansen has over 20 years of progressive international and domestic trading in both dry and liquid commodities. Hansen began his career at Cargill in 1988 and since then has held numerous positions worldwide, trading many different commodities and specializing in LPG and Naphtha. Most recently he was the Managing Director LPG at Louis Dreyfus in London, where he established Louis Dreyfus in the international LPG and Naphtha business.
