Background

Before joining JPMorgan, Bisignano was chief executive officer for Citigroup's Global Transaction Services business and a member of Citigroup's Management and Operating Committees. Previously he was chief administrative officer of Citigroup's Global Corporate and Investment Banking Group and deputy head of Operations and Technology for all of Citigroup from 2000 to 2003. Prior to joining Smith Barney in 1994, he was executive vice president and chief Consumer Lending Officer at First Fidelity Bancorporation. From 1986 to 1990, he was a senior vice president at Shearson Lehman Brothers.

He served as a director of Euroclear and the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation. ^[5]

Bisignano graduated from Newport University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance.
