Futures For Kids is a fundraising vehicle set up by a group of individuals working in firms across the futures and options industry, including banks, brokers, exchanges, vendors and consultants. It aims to raise money to benefit charities working with children.[1]
The Futures For Kids trustees are continually working on fundraising events to gain momentum from potential supporters. Their first event was the FOA/FIA IDX Gala, on June 11, 2008, which raised more than £200,000. 2011's Futures For Kids Walk to Work, an event in which 29 walkers walked 36 miles to work from Kent to the center of London, raised £48,000. The second annual Walk to Work was held on May 18, 2012 for about 100 walkers and raised £60,000.[2]
Further information on sponsoring events or making donations can be obtained by contacting Futures For Kids at info@futuresforkids.org.uk.
