Gilberto Mifano is chairman of BM&F Bovespa, a post he took in May 2008 after the merger of BM&F and Bovespa.
Mifano was CEO of Bovespa from 1994 to 2007. He also served as investor relations officer at Bovespa.[1]
Mifano is also vice-chairman of the board of the Brazilian Institute for Corporate Governance (IBGC), a board member of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) and an executive committee member of the Iberian American Exchange Federation (FIAB).

Education
He earned his degree in business administration from Getulio Vargas Foundation.
Mifano is also Vice-Chairman of the Board of the Brazilian Institute for Corporate Governance (IBGC), a Board member of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE), and an Executive Committee member of the Iberian American Exchange Federation (FIAB).
