Howard Stone is a senior advisor with Urban Retail Properties, LLC.[1] On Nov. 19, 2009, he was elected a Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) board director. [2]
Stone has served on the board of advisors for the Catholic Theological Union.[3]

Until his retirement in March 2005, Stone was a senior managing director of American Express Tax and Business Services. Prior to that, he served continually from 1957 to 1998 in various roles for the certified public accounting firm of Altschuler, Melvoin and Glasser LLP, most recently as the senior partner. He also held the title of managing partner there from 1981 to 1998.
