The Intermarket Trading System is an electronic communications network that links nine US markets: the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the American Stock Exchange (AMEX), the Boston Stock Exchange (BSE), the Chicago Stock Exchange (CSX), the Cincinnati Stock Exchange, the Pacific Exchange, the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), and the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD).
