James E. Oliff is the deputy chairman of FFastFill PLC, and a member of the CME Group board of directors.[1][2][3][4]

Background

Oliff is a member of the CME Group board of directors, having served on CME boards since April 2002 and as a director of CME since 1994.

A member of the exchange for more than 25 years, Oliff was second vice chairman of CME Holdings' board from its formation on August 2, 2001, until April 2002, and of CME's board from 1998 until April 2002; he served as vice chairman of CME Holdings from 2002 until its merger with the Chicago Board of Trade in July 2007, becoming CME Group. He previously served on CME's board from 1982 to 1992.

Oliff has also served as executive director of International Futures and Options Associates (1996 to July 2005) and as president of LST Commodities, LLC, an introducing broker (1999 until January 2002).

He also is a member of advisory board for the MS Program in Financial Engineering at Kent State University.

Education

He holds a bachelor of arts degree from Brandeis University and J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.
