Jim Bittman is a senior instructor at the CBOE's The Options Institute, the educational arm of the Chicago Board Options Exchange. At The Options Institute he teaches courses for public and institutional investors. He has also presented custom courses in the U.S., Europe, South America and Southeast Asia. Bittman also teaches in a Masters’ level program at The University of Illinois in Chicago.
Background
In 1980 Jim Bittman began his trading career as an equity options market maker at the Chicago Board Options Exchange. From 1983 to 1993, he held a Commodity Options Membership at the Chicago Board of Trade where he traded options on financial futures and agricultural futures contracts.
