John P. Davidson III is infrastructure risk chief of Citigroup, a position he was named to in March 2008.[1] Previously, he was managing director and chief corporate development officer of CME Group[2][3].

Prior to the July 2007 merger of CME and the Chicago Board of Trade, John Davidson held the same title as above, but for CME Holdings and for CME since February 2006.
Prior he held a variety of leadership roles with Morgan Stanley & Co., Incorporated in New York from December 1993 to February 2006, most recently as managing director and operations officer for the firm's Global Operations and Services Division, a position he assumed in April 2005.
Previously, Davidson served in a variety of leadership roles at CME after originally joining the company in August 1983, both in trading operations and in the CME Clearing House. He also held derivatives management roles at Merrill Lynch Futures, Inc.
Education
Davidson earned an M.B.A. in financial management and international business from the University of Chicago[4] and graduated with highest distinction from the University of Illinois-Urbana with a bachelor's degree in political science.
