Bronstein joined the firm, which combines proprietary trading with an asset management and software operation, in 1982. He is also a principal of its Digilog Capital investment unit.


He is a former board member of the Chicago Board of Trade, where he became a member in 1971, and governor of the Chicago Board of Trade Clearing Corp.. He started trading in 1965 at the age of 16.

Bronstein is a founding member of the Chicago Climate Exchange and a member of that organization's sister organization, the Chicago Climate Futures Exchange. He has served as chairman of the board for SLIL Biomedical and has served on the board of American Ecology Corp. He also sits on the board of Electronic Recyclers.

Education

Bronstein did his undergraduate work in Economic History at the University of Wisconsin and his graduate work at the University of Chicago.
