Background

Kenneth M. Ford is a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse, based in New York. He also is the Global Head of Listed Derivatives within the Securities Division. Mr. Ford joined Credit Suisse First Boston in February 1996. He previously served as a Director in the Financial Futures and Options group at Merrill Lynch.

Mr. Ford is the Chairman of the Futures Industry Association (FIA)and was appointed to a two-year term March 2008.[1] Previously he served as Vice Chairman. The FIA is an association that represents the interests of over 180 members who are responsible for over 80% of the futures business transacted on U.S. exchanges. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Institute for Financial Markets, a nonprofit educational foundation whose mission focuses on education, ethics and data. .[2]

Mr. Ford holds a B.S. in Finance from Boston College with high honors.
