Marcus Katz is director of interest rates for the CME Group. He was named to the position on December 11, 2008. At the CME Group, he is responsible for expanding their presence in the over-the-counter (OTC) interest rate market.[1]
Background
Previously, Katz most recently served as founder and managing partner of Winnemac Investments LLC, a fixed income asset management company located in Chicago. He was also head of Risk Solutions for Lehman Brothers Inc. in New York and global head of corporate derivatives for Bank of America in Chicago.
Education
Katz holds a bachelor's degree from West Virginia University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He holds a masters of business administration from Northwestern Univesity's Kellogg School of Management.
