Sachs spent two decades in the futures industry, eighteen with Lind-Waldock. He began his career with Lind-Waldock in 1986 as an account executive, and from 1990 to 1996 opened and managed both its London and Hong Kong offices. He returned to the United States to manage the firm's corporate relationships and 24-hour global trade operations from 1996 to 1999.
After spending 1999 through 2000 with futures broker Vision Financial Markets LLC, Sachs returned to Lind-Waldock in 2001 as chief marketing officer. In 2002, he was promoted to the position of president of Lind-Waldock.[4]
