Maureen C. Downs [1][2] is president of Rosenthal Collins Group, a futures commission merchant. She serves on the FCM Committee and Business Owners Committee of the CME Group and on the Futures Commission Merchant Advisory Committee of the National Futures Association. Before joining Rosenthal Collins Group in 1998 as senior vice president of business development, marketing and strategic planning, Downs was chief financial officer of Downs Capital, a proprietary trading firm with operations at both the CBOT and CME. Prior to her futures career, she practiced law and spent several years in corporate finance.[3]
Education
Downs received a B.B.A. in Finance, summa cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from Northwestern University's School of Law. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.[4]
