RTS is a global solutions provider for the trading community. RTS, founded in 1992, creates, designs and hosts multi-asset electronic trading software.^[1] Customer groups include institutionals, brokers, hedge funds, professional traders and algorithmic traders.

RTS has offices in major financial centers around the world including Amsterdam, Chicago, Frankfurt, London, New York, Paris, Singapore, Stockholm and Sydney. RTS is headquartered in Frankfurt^[2] and has sales and distribution partners in Greece (Unisystems S.A.), and Japan.

On Dec. 9, 2009, RTS announced that it would offer high-speed access under a unified infrastructure to all markets of the London Stock Exchange Group, including the London Stock Exchange, Borsa Italiana, and the European Derivatives Exchange (EDX), as well as Oslo Børs’ equity market.

Milestones

2009: Extends global data centers hub with new data centers in Chicago, New York and London

2008: Connected to 100+ exchanges and liquidity pools; Introduced new corporate identity;^[3] Launched re-branded web site, selected to provide the front end solution for MexDer

2007: Introduced RTD Tango Backtester, the strategy benchmarking tool with market data collector

2005: Launched RTD Tango, the automated, event-based, algorithmic trading platform; RTS moved its data center operations from an internally-managed center to Equinix's datacenter

2003: Introduced RTD FIX-API; Established connection to its 50th exchange

2002: Introduced mRTD, RTS’ internal matching engine to cross internal and match order flow or create OTC market places

2000: Introduced eRTD, the java based distributable front-end

1997: Launched RTD Realtime Trading Desktop

1992: HQ established in Frankfurt and began development to allow the trading of options and futures on DTB, today‘s Eurex
