Robert J. Bahash is Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. He is also responsible for managing the corporate-wide use of information technology, including the strategic direction of the corporation's electronic commerce strategy, Investor Relations and the Corporation's centralized manufacturing operations.
Before his appointment to executive vice president and chief financial officer in 1988, Bahash was senior vice president, Finance and Manufacturing. He joined the corporation in 1974 as manager of financial auditing, and has held a number of finance-related positions. He became executive vice president, Finance, for the McGraw-Hill Book Company in 1983, and was appointed senior vice president, Corporate Financial Operations, in 1985.[1]
