Robert Walsh was president and chief operating officer of OneChicago until early January 2008, when he resigned. In January 2003, he joined OneChicago as managing director of operations from the Chicago Board Options Exchange where he was instrumental in the successful debut of CBOE's extended trading sessions on CBOEdirect, the exchange's screen-based trading system. He was also a key member of the CBOE team preparing for the launch of single stock futures.
Background
Walsh has 30 years of experience in the futures and securities business, 13 of those years with CBOE, culminating as vice President of trade processing. Prior, he was vice president of data processing and telecommunications for Kessler Asher Group and director of product development for the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation.
Education
Walsh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University.
