Steffen Gemünden is the CEO and chairman of the executive board of RTS Realtime Systems Group. On Nov. 3 of 2008, RTS announced he'd assumed this position upon his father Engelbert Gemuenden's retirement which became effective Oct. 31, 2008.[1] The younger Steffen had been co-CEO of RTS.
Background
Steffen Gemünden has been in the electronic trading environment since 1989. Gemünden began developing software for market makers and brokers when the predecessor to Eurex, the Deutsche Terminbörse, started its operation. As one of the original founders of RTS in 1992, he has been in the industry for almost 20 years. [2]
