The Honorable Thomas W. (Tom) Ewing [1] , serves as of counsel with the Washington D.C.-based law firm of Davis & Harman LLP. Ewing is also a public representative on the board of directors of National Futures Association and serves on the NFA Appeals Committee.
Background

Ewing is a former Republican member of the United States House of Representatives [2] and the Illinois State House of Representatives. Ewing represented the 15th district of Illinois in the U.S. Congress from 1991 to 2001, and was an Illinois state legislator from 1974 to 1991. Previously, he served as the Livingston County, Illinois district attorney and practiced law.
Ewing also serves as chairman of the Biomass Research and Development Technical Advisory Committee.
Education
Ewing has a B.S. from Millikin Univeristy in Decatur, Illinois and his J.D. from John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
