Tom Anderson becomes chief financial officer at R.J. O'Brien & Associates, Inc., effective May 5, 2008.[1]
Background
Before joining RJO, Anderson was chief financial officer at Calyon Financial from 2000-2006. He previously served as their senior vice president and COO, with the responsibility for implementing strategy in operations, IT, finance, and treasury. He also played a key role in the merger between Calyon and Fimat.
Before joining Calyon in 2000, Anderson spent 10 years at Lind-Waldock & Company (Lind), where he was CFO and senior vice president. He played an integral role in the sale of Lind to Refco Group in February 2000, as well as the acquisition of broker LFG LLC.[2]
