Torben Munch is chief executive officer of Orc Software. He was appointed to that position on June 29, 2012, succeeding Thomas Bill.[1] Munch will begin his new role at the latest Jan. 1, 2013.

Background

Munch joined Orc from SimCorp, a global software provider to the international investment management industry, where he has held various positions since joining the firm in 1996. He began his career at SimCorp as manager of the firm's activities in Germany and then served as member of the executive management board, executive vice president and chief operating officer since 2001.[2]

Munch formerly worked for Unibank (Nordea) and served as a member of the board of directors of Equipos Ltd., TIA Holding III, and Traen.

Education

He holds a M.S. in Economics.
