Releases Company News

Traiana is a post-trade network for FX, exchange-traded derivatives, equities and equity derivatives, that connects to more than 500 firms. The company was acquired by ICAP in October of 2007.[1]

In 2011, the firm received a "RISK Management Technology Product Of The Year" award for its part in a trade aggregation service for the over-the-counter (OTC) forex market called CLS Aggregation Services.[2][3]

History

Gil Mandelzis, James Chrystal and Roy Saadon founded Traiana in 2000.

In May of 2012, Andy Coyne was appointed chief executive officer. Mandelzis is now executive chairman.

In March of 2012, six major banks signed up to Traiana's clearing network, known as Harmony CCP Connect, to manage the connectivity and workflow required to clear over-the-counter FX derivatives. The banks are: Citigroup Inc., Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank AG, JP Morgan Chase & Co., Morgan Stanley and UBS AG. [4]

Products and Services

Asset classes supported include FX, equities, equity derivatives and exchange-traded derivatives. Instruments supported include cash (spot, forwards, swaps, mismatch swaps, NDF's), precious metals (cash, options). Options (vanilla, barrier) and double barrier (digitals, non-deliverable options and third-currency premiums).

Traiana's Harmony CCP Connect, introduced in 2011, offers trade routing, affirmation, matching, allocation and reporting for centrally cleared foreign-exchange options and non-deliverable forwards, between institutions and clearing houses, as required by the U.S. Dodd Frank Act and the European Union's European Markets Infrastructure Regulation.[5] [6]
