UNX is an agency brokerage firm that provides advanced trade execution services to institutional investors.
In November of 2009, UNX announced that they secured funding from Goldman Sachs and Vernon & Park Capital, L.P.. [1] The funding will go towards developing their open technology platform and Catalyst® Portal, an Execution Management System (EMS).
In May of 2010, UNX announced that they secured strategic investments from Broadhaven Capital Partners and the Matthew Pritzker Company to expand it's multi-asset class trading offerings into the global capital markets. [2]
