Veronica Augustsson is the CEO at Cinnober Financial Technology. She was named to the post in October 2012.[1]
Background
Augustsson started her career at Cinnober in 2002 as a developer. After that she held various positions within the company including onsite support at the American Stock Exchange in New York, and also in technical sales support for the TRADExpress platform. She rose to head of sales at Cinnober and is credited with helping secure deals for its technology with Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange and LME Clear.
She succeeded Javier Tordable, who left after six months in the post.
Augustsson was also mentioned as a "40 Under 40 Rising Stars of Trading and Technology” by Financial News.
Education
Augustsson has a master’s degree in computer engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm.
