Walter Thomas (Tom) Price, III^[1] is CEO and chairman of The Price Futures Group, Inc.

Background

Tom Price is chairman, president, CEO and sole shareholder of Price Futures Group, Inc. and Price Asset Management, Inc. He also has been the president and chief executive officer of The Price Futures Group since June 1995 and is a principal investor in Uhlmann Price Securities.

Additionally, Price is chief executive of Beeland Management Co., which manages investment products and accounts based upon the Rogers International Commodities Index (RICI).^[2]

Price has been involved in the securities, cash commodities and commodity futures markets for more than 40 years as both a trader for his own account and as a broker. He is president, a registered principal, and associated person of Price Capital Markets Inc., with which he has been affiliated since February 1997. At Price Capital Markets, Price is ultimately responsible for overseeing all trading decisions.

He is the chairman, president, director and sole shareholder of Atrium Securities, Inc., a registered broker-dealer.

Education

A graduate of the University of Texas, he is both a licensed NASD principal and NFA principal.
