WeatherBill Inc. is a weather-risk-management outfit based in San Francisco, California. WeatherBill provides the only online service that allows businesses to protect revenue and control costs from the impact of bad weather.

Founded by CEO David Friedberg, CTO Siraj Khaliq and former members of the Google team, WeatherBill is funded by venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates, Index Ventures and Allen & Company. It is backed by Nephila Capital, one of the world’s largest weather risk and catastrophe reinsurance fund managers.

In June of 2008, Priceline announced that it would offer a new "sunshine guarantee" over summer months that would refund 100 percent of the airfare, hotel and car rental charges booked through them if one of their customers' vacations was rained upon. It only applies to certain destinations, and it has to rain 0.5 inches per day for at least half the trip, but there is no additional fee for the insurance. The insurance is being provided through WeatherBill.[1]
