Ahmass L. Fakahany is a long-time executive in the financial industry. He retired from a role as co-president and chief operating officer of Merrill Lynch in February of 2008.[1][2]

Background

Fakahany joined Merrill Lynch in 1987 and served in a variety of senior roles. In 1999 he began as a senior vice president and finance director for Merrill Lynch and Co.[3][4]His final position was as co-president and chief operating officer of Merrill Lynch.

Education

He has an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, from Boston University School of Management.[5]
