Alain Courbebaisse
Alain Courbebaisse is chief information and technology officer at Euronext. He joined the exchange on June 7 2017 and reports to Stéphane Boujnah, CEO and chairman of the managing board. [1] Courbebaisse leads Euronext’s technology projects, including the rollout of its new trading platform Optiq and is responsible for preparing the next stages of its IT infrastructure. In March 2018, he was appointed as chairman of FastMatch Inc., a subsidiary of Euronext.[2] BackgroundHe previously was head of Societe Generale’s US prime brokerage and clearing business from 2014 to 2017. [3][4] Before Societe Generale, Courbebaisse was the global chief information officer at Newedge for more than 10 years and served as a member of the Newedge Group Executive Committee. He had been with Newedge since 1999.[5][6] He also served in similar roles at Fimat Bank UK as a Europe CIO, and Fimat SNC as its CIO, among other positions.
