Barton Biggs was a famed money manager who was said to have called the technology bubble of the late 1990s and the deep recession that followed it. He died in 2012.
In 1973, Barton joined Morgan Stanley as a partner. Biggs established Morgan Stanley's research department, and founded Morgan Stanley Investment Management in 1975.
