Bjørn Sibbern is senior vice president of global trading and market services and heads the global commodity markets and broker services at Nasdaq Copenhagen. He joined Nasdaq in 2008 as president of OMX Nordic Exchange Copenhagen, replacing Jan Ovesen. He was previously president of E*Trade Bank in Denmark.[1]

Sibbern will move to New York in June of 2017 to become Nasdaq executive vice president of global information services.[2]

Background

Before becoming president of E*Trade Bank, Sibbern was VP of issuer services at the Nordic Exchange and head of trading and issuer services for the exchange in Copenhagen.
