CME Group E-micro FX Futures are electronically traded currency futures contracts that are one-tenth the standard contract size of the CME Group's IMM FX futures.[1] The CME designed Forex E-Micros to enable retail traders and investors to cost-effectively access the security, transparency and liquidity of CME Group's FX products. These contracts are listed with, and subject to, the rules and regulations of CME.

On March 22, 2009 they launched six currency pairs that are quoted in Interbank terms rather than the traditional IMM currency format. Volume on the first day was 1193 contracts and grew to 9171 contracts by its third day.

The contracts trade exclusively on the CME Globex electronic trading platform.
