Clark M. Hutchison, III is global head of listed derivatives at Morgan Stanley. Previously, he was co-global head of exchange-traded derivatives for UBS Securities LLC.

He is also a executive committee member for the Futures Industry Association (FIA).[1][2]

In early June of 2009, he was named cohead of listed derivatives at Morgan Stanley along with Bill Templer. Hutchison would work for Morgan Stanley from New York.[3]

A memo distributed internally to Morgan Stanley employees said that the appointment of Hutchison and Templer to roles where they would oversee listed derivatives like options and futures marks a significant step in the firm's plan to expand its global sales and trading business.[4] Templer later left Morgan Stanley in 2011.[5]

Background

Hutchison worked at UBS for more than six years. Prior to UBS, he spent 18 years at Goldman Sachs (GS) working in the areas of derivatives and prime brokerage.[6] Previous to joining Goldman Sachs, he traded grain for five years for Bunge.[7]
