Daniel Maguire is the chief executive officer at LCH. He was appointed to that position in October of 2017, after having been group chief operating officer and global head of rates and FX derivatives since April 10, 2017.[1] [2]

As CEO he is responsible for achieving new business growth, maintaining and building existing customer relationships and driving innovation, while ensuring LCH’s risk and resilience is fully safeguarded. He is also responsible for the development and execution of global product strategy.

He was previously global head of SwapClear, LCH’s global interest rate swap clearing business, a position he was appointed to on March 5, 2014, replacing Michael Davie, who stepped down to focus on his role as CEO of LCH.[3] While there, he spearheaded SwapClear’s development into client clearing. He joined LCH.Clearnet in 1999 and returned to the company in 2008 after having spent three years at JPMorgan Chase working in the global commodity exotics and hybrids business.
