Klotz was hired initially as head of E-Trading at PhillipCapital, and then in 2016 he transitioned to pursuing his passion of business development and sales. He started his career in the futures industry as a phone clerk in the CME EuroDollarEurodollar pit, and has 19 years of industry experience. Before joining PhillipCapital, he was director and head of Global E-Trading Services at Mizuho Securities USA, where he managed a staff of six analysts and was instrumental in the process of onboarding and managing institutional customer relationships.
Klotz has also worked at other FCMs such as GNI, Inc. and ABN AMRO in similar roles. Additionally, he worked at Born Technology, a trading infrastructure company. Over the course of his career he has been involved at every step in the evolution of electronic trading, from the launch of Globex II, to the migration away from the trading floor, and into the current algorithmic trading environment.
Klotz has a BA from Bates College, holds licenses including 3, 7, 24, & 63.
