Dominique Velter is the strategic marketing director of Compagnie Financière Tradition, and she is also a member of executive board.[1]

Background

In 1986, Dominique Velter joined BATIF, the capital market banking arm of Thomson, and she was appointed director of financing at the Bernard HAYOT Group in 1989, specialists in wholesale and retail distribution in the French overseas territories. In 1996, she joined VIEL & Cie to assist the Chairman on development projects. In 1999, she created the Group Viel & Cie’s online broker, Capitol.fr, and was its president until April 2001, when she was appointed strategic marketing director of Compagnie Financière Tradition S.A and serves as its member of executive committee. She serves as director of Bourse Direct SA and director of TRADIFICOM (Switzerland) and TRADCOM (Switzerland), and she is also a member of the Supervisory Board of AAASSUR.[2]

Education

Dominique Velter holds a Master’s degree in economics from Paris-Dauphine University (Paris, France). In 1996 she obtained her Masters of Business Administration degree from ISAHEC.[3]
