Products and Services
Anti-Money Laundering Training
Exchange Analytics' AML courses help FCM, IB and BD trainees fulfill requirements of the USA PATRIOT Act and RMLO trainees fulfill requirements under the Bank Secrecy Act. Training for RIAs is considered a best practice.
Customer Protection Rule Training
Employees of FCMs, SROs, DSROs and DCOs who are involved in finance, treasury, operations, regulatory, compliance and settlement (as well as other relevant officers and employees) are required to take annual Customer Protection training. Course covers the handling of customer funds, procedures for reporting suspected policy breaches and consequences of failing to comply with segregation requirements.
This course is a convenient training solution for NFA-member firms (FCMs, IBs, CTAs, CPOs, RFEDs, SDs, MSPs, RMLOs), FINRA-registered BDs and SEC-registered IAs. Course covers both the firm's responsibilities and the individual's responsibilities in great detail.
Ethics (Initial and Periodic) Training
Exchange Analytics offers two types of ethics training courses: Initial and Periodic. The Initial course is for newcomers to the U.S. futures industry. The Periodic course is designed as a refresher to reinforce ethical principles. Both courses meet the standards of the CFTC's Statement of Acceptable Practices.
Identity Theft Training
This course goes beyond EA's cybersecurity training to identify specific identity theft threats, detection methods and appropriate responses. This training helps firms comply with the "Red Flag Rules" (SEC Regulation S-ID along with CFTC Subpart C).
Market Conduct Training
This Market Conduct course covers spoofing, messaging infractions, wash sales, disruptive trading practices, violating bids and offers, reckless disregard for orderly execution, market manipulation, pre-arranged trading, failures of automated trading systems and other transgressions. Recent fines and prison sentences have make it clear that traders and their firms can expect harsh consequences if they break the rules, intentionally or inadvertantly.
Non-Competitive Trading Training
Block trades and Exchange for Related Positions (EFRPs) are the primary non-competitive trades authorized by Exchange rules. The CME, ICE U.S. and ICE Europe have specific rules for executing block trades and EFRPs; this course explains those rules in detail. It is designed for anyone who participates in qualified non-competitive trading — an area of strict regulatory scrutiny.
Test Prep Materials
Exchange Analytics offers preparation materials for the following exams:
- Series 3 (National Commodity Futures Exam)
- Series 30 (Futures Branch Manager Exam)
- Series 31 (Futures Managed Funds Exam)
