Futures Cares Charity Dinner

The Futures Cares Charity Dinner is an annual dinner that gives companies and individuals in the futures and options industry the opportunity to provide funds to feed people in need. All proceeds from the dinner benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository, a nonprofit food distribution and training center providing food for hungry people. [1]

The Futures Cares Charity Dinner is held after the annual Futures Industry Association Expo in Chicago in November. It takes place at the Chicago Hilton. The event includes a charity raffle for a car, sponsored by (and donated by) the CME Group.

For the 2010 Charity Dinner, the guest speaker will be former Chicago Bears running back Gale Sayers.

Futures Cares Honorary Committee

Terrence Duffy from the CME Group is the Event Chairman. Other Committee members include; William Brodsky from the Chicago Board Options Exchange, Jim Heinz from Marquette Partners, Richard Sandor from the Chicago Climate Exchange, Jeffrey Sprecher from the Intercontinental Exchange, Donald Wilson from DRW Trading Group, Bernie Dan from MF Global and Chris Hehmeyer from Penson GHCO.
